Accounts Reconstruction and System Optimization for Country Club at Johor Bahru with the resort services
In 1994, a club faced significant challenges transitioning from a manual to the computerized accounting system that was designed to manage member subscriptions, F&B expenses, and billing.
Errors appeared in the system with the cost of approximately RM 1 million during the concurrent use of manual and digital processes, leading to discrepancies such as incorrect charges in members' receivable accounts.
Our team of eight people was engaged to investigate and resolve these issues through a comprehensive reconciliation of records for ensuring accurate billing and restoring trust in the system. We also worked closely with the software developers to correct system flaws, ultimately enhancing the club's accounting operations.
